Chinatown
Chinatown is like Gastown but with a bit of a dim sum edge. It all started when the railroad came to town and today Vancouver’s Chinatown is the second largest in North America. A stroll through the area and you’ll find enough delicacies to satisfy any palette or superstition. Chinatown is full of Chinese charm and living in the area would be fulfilling in mind and in stomach. It’s got a lot of character with some cool old buildings and some nice new ones going up so there are plenty of lofts to meet a variety of tastes. Chinatown is only a short walk from downtown and only a short drive to highway 1 for a quick escape.
