"Loft Queen" Katie Burkard has reigned over Vancouver's Loft scene since 2003.   Propelled by a passion for unique properties and the people who love them, this stylish, "Yes" gal co-founded Vancity Lofts in 2004. Her game changing site quickly became the go-to resource for anyone interested in 12 foot ceilings, but Katie knew she needed to expand her empire.  So, in 2007 she and business partner Shawn Lee created Blu Living, and Vancouver's one-stop shop for everything Real Estate was born. Running the business is a thrill for this hardworking, extrovert, but for Katie - nothing beats the thrill of the chase. Whether it's Manolos or multi-million dollar homes, Katie uses her  "velvet hammer" approach to secure THE best deal possible. Why else would the Medallion Club crown her top 10% since 2005?

When Katie isn't dealing; she's free wheeling on her motorbike or sharing a glass and laugh. And her closet…well…let's just say it's fit for a queen!
